Deduction
A pattern emerged in the typography that exposed bacteria even among glyphs. Periods, semi-colons, and vertical bars were among the germy clues found. Colonies of periods invaded paragraphs of text and the colors pink and green were used liberally to show the beauty in the gross.
Among the many infographics created was a diagram of the human body and the bacteria contained therein, as well as a diagram tracking the movement of a single type of bacteria.

Deduction
A pattern emerged showing the case to be motherhood. The clues were found in scrapbooking paper, gender-neutral colors, and children’s picture books. The story tells of a woman who at first struggles to be a writer while being a mother, but soon learns that her child and muse inspires her writing. It is the evolution of both a mother and her child.
Scrapbooking paper inspired the patterns that were incorporated into my illustrations. The illustrations were meant to emulate a children’s picture book that could be read by a mother to her child(ren).

Deduction
Facts came together to reveal a conflict of two concepts; selfness and selfless. A classic case of self-design. The clues were found in two spines, anatomy, and distorted type forms. Much like rorschach, the typography, illustrations, layout, and content of each side of the book, mirrored the other.
Type experiments involved the use of string, peeling stickers, and sculptural kraft letters. It sits on the border of art and design.
Meant to study the change of self as well as the acceptance of oneself, this book was a very raw and personal exploration
